{"id":131,"date":"2012-09-29T22:52:43","date_gmt":"2012-09-30T02:52:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mikesmiles.org\/?p=131"},"modified":"2012-09-29T22:52:43","modified_gmt":"2012-09-30T02:52:43","slug":"day-2-general-thoughts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.mikesmiles.org\/?p=131","title":{"rendered":"Day 2 &#8211; General Thoughts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have come along way, and we still have a ways to go. \u00a0I had the bar set pretty high coming into this weekend, thinking I wouldn&#8217;t be at risk for highs and lows. \u00a0However, I am encouraged that this device is closer than I thought. \u00a0I am encouraged by the research team and their drive to understand the hurdles and resolve them for the next phase of the study.<\/p>\n<p>Anything. \u00a0I repeat, anything that gets us closer to being able to:<\/p>\n<p>1. Have mom sleep through the night.<\/p>\n<p>2. Give me a greater chance at no complications later in life.<\/p>\n<p>3. Giving T1D the &#8216;old Tony Papola tag line<\/p>\n<p>4.
